Isle of Capri

A quick drive this morning from our hotel to the port of Naples, where we catch a people mover ferry to Capri. There is quite a chop on the water for the hour long journey and a number of our tour group look a little green as we arrive at Marina Grande, the main port on the island.

There are not a lot of words required to describe our day other than to say it involved uphill climbs followed be steep descents, followed by more climbs, followed by tired legs. Well worth the effort though and the next few shots are just a small sample of the outstanding views and vistas we were treated to along the way.

After about three hours of treking the island and snapping photos, we treated ourselves to a long, delicious and well earned patio lunch, followed by a leisurely stroll through the shop lined streets.

Tomorrow we visit Pompeii and Sorrento.

Does anyone remember Absorbene Junior? Wish I had some right now...

Ciao...
